Amped 4-A-Cure

I first became aware of this organization while I was in Atlanta in September 2009 at The International Soul Music Summit. You would've thought they were a radio station the way they were rockin'! Playing music from many of the artists there at the summit, it was the place to be in between the sessions.

What impressed me the most was the cause which is to find a cure for cancer. It is a very serious disease that has effected us all in some way, shape or form. The kicker for me was their idea of fusing music and artists into the scenario. Any serious artist or just a human being in general should desire to apart of an important cause. This is one of them. I was sold at the outset and I'm encouraging you to do the same..

You never know who the Lord will have you to cross paths with and what kind of impact you will have on them and they on you. This is a very talented man I crossed paths while touring Japan and we've been friends eversince. His work is so life-like it's breathtaking. Be sure to visit this site and see for yourself.

Morito "Mo" Suzuki is a graphic artist who visualizes music. He has worked with some of the greatest musicians on the planet, including EARTH WIND & FIRE, GEORGE DUKE, MICHAEL SEMBELLO, VINNIE COLAIUTA, RANDY WALDMAN and JENNIFER BATTEN.

In addition to creating artwork, Morito can be heard as a frequent guest on radio programs and writes columns for several magazines. He is currently working on graphic design projects for upcoming Hollywood films. His quest in the arts and entertainment continues...

A site that showcases an awesome drummer and a dear friend (brother). He takes drumming to the next level in every way possible. A hard guy to catch up to for he's on the road frequently. He is also 1/3 of my jazz trio "joshua.

The House of Soul (old & new). This is literally the best independent music retail store I've ever been to. Located in the Midtown section of Atlanta, Georgia this place is an independent music lover's paradise. For those of you who have been looking for cd versions of those old vinyl records of yours, Moods Music has those too all at reasonable prices. If you're ever in the Atlanta area don't miss the opportunity to visit this establishment. You won't want to leave. When you stop in be sure to pick up a copy of Love & Faith: Volume 1.

Greek Isle Productions

A full audio / video production facility owned by one of the best sound engineers I know: Michael Papatonis. Here, you can record an album and film the video all under one roof along with a host of other multimedia services. I highly recommend them for your next project. Tell him Alvin sent you.

My mentor and big brother Eddie Baccus, Jr. A spectacular sax player. He's a world-class musician and has toured the world many times over as a member of the group "Pieces of a Dream". Eddie also performs with my group "joshua". If you go to his page you can actually hear some live recordings of Eddie with my trio performing songs i wrote for the group as well as the title track to Eddie's upcoming album "Journey to Love" That he and I collaborated on.
