alvin frazier: Photos

The picture that you see inset was my original poster, but because of the picture quality I had to create another. I really liked that one.
Contemplation
Here I am as a member of the Vocal Band: Praise-apella. A band without instruments. Imagine that, me in a band without instruments! I was with the group for about a year and during that time I recorded an album with them entitled "The Perfect Gift".
SUPERNATURAL aka "Strummin' in the Electric Garden"

The joshua Trio

In the Funk Zone...
The joshua Trio after our show with jazz vocalist Me'Na in Ft. Wayne at The Philmore on Broadway. A great venue with a cool vibe.

We are "joshua"
My current jazz group "joshua". From left to right, Elijah Gilmore (drums), myself (guitar & bass) and Derrick George (keyboards)
This is a cool shot. A lot of people thought that this was a poster for a jean ad.
This photo was from The joshua Trio's performance at Earth Nightclub in Cleveland. The lady in the middle is keyboardist Cynethiel King. She's been playing with me for over 14 years. A very gifted musician.

On Tour in Asia 2008

Gotta hurry to the gate!
While on the streets of Songtan, South Korea me and the gang were surprised when this festive parade burst out of nowhere just around noon.
Boarding the plane for what would be my first international tour.
Couldn't wait to eat on the plane so I took a chance on some Japanese cuisine at the airport. It was actually pretty good. Something with noodles. Lol!
These fortunate Japanese students were catching a flight for a field trip. Must be nice...
Here's a cool shot I took from my window on the airplane flying over Tokyo while on tour in Japan.
The crew after landing in Misawa, JP l-r Ernest Johnson, Gentry Shelby, Gerald Thomas, Walter Howard, Me, Keith Webb, Kim Hines & Chanda Long.
Making sure the sound is right for my performance in Hiroshima.
Walking through a Japanese marketplace, I noticed the most adorable little girl. This was actually right outside a mall.
