Hopefest, the annual charity benefit and music festival has just recently added alvin frazier to it's roster and he will be bringing his "Love & Faith" Experience to Stow on Saturday July 24th at noon. The artist is scheduled to open the festival and perform a 60 minute set. Other artists scheduled to perform also include former American Idol contestant Sean McNeil.

Eastbrook Music recording artist alvin frazier is slated to perform and be a panelist during the summit which is in it's fourth year and will be held in Atlanta September 24 - 27.

This will be the artists' first appearance in the Peachtree State and it surely won't be his last. Get ready Atlanta, Georgia The Love & Faith Experience will be invading your town soon!

Based on various industry resources it appears that the artist's first single is starting to catch fire again. Originally released in 2007, the song's popularity has began to increase as of late. The current news has the song as the Featured Song as well as the Top Requested Song on the Atlanta Jamz music website.

The magazine's website has recently published that alvin frazier's "I Miss You" from his debut album "Love & Faith: Volume 1" has reached number 1 on it's All Indie Picks Charts.

The song peaked at number 1 and has been in the top position for the past 3 weeks.

"Christian Soul Singer alvin frazier prepares to release sophmore CD."
As a Light of Liberty Church Praise & Worship Leader, Alvin Frazier is familiar with taking his audience to new spiritual heights. Now the singer-musician is hoping to do the same with his sophomore project "Love & Faith: Vol. 2," which is due out next spring.

"Lyrically, it'll still be a Christian-themed album of course but you'll still have some jazz elements there, some soul and some R&B flavor," said Frazier, a 1994 East High School graduate. "I'm not going to alienate those who enjoyed my first album, so it's just going to be a mature growth and show some versatility. . . . I don't want to duplicate the same album."

New songs already in his live set include the R&B ballad influenced "Wonderful Love" and the up-tempo jazz-inspired "The Calling." Frazier is scheduled to perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Nighttown, 12387 Cedar Rd., Cleveland Heights.

"Love & Faith: Volume 1 listed among Delightful Music's Top 50 Best Albums of 2007!"
Delightful Music , a popular music website in Japan selected alvin frazier's debut album "Love & Faith: Volume 1" as one of the Top 50 Best Albums of 2007 . The album ranked No. 21 in the listing and was in the company of releases by artists such as: J Moss, Tonex, Chaka Khan, O'Bryan, Keysha Cole, Angie Stone, JOE, Frank McComb, Musiq Soulchild and Jaheim to name a few.

In April of 2007 alvin held the No. 2 spot on the site's Top 10 CD's of the Week for 3 consecutive weeks before falling to the No. 3 position after the release of JOE's "Ain't Nothin' Like Me". Love & Faith would remain at the No. 3 position for an additional 2 weeks. Two tracks from the album "Star" and "Beautiful" were included in the site's Top 100 Best Songs of 2007 . A favorable song by song review of the album was also featured on the site as well.

For anyone who made it out to last Summer's show it was one not to be missed. alvin's debut at the world-renowned Night Town last year was the talk of the town. The details are being worked out for a July 26th show. More details to follow.

After having recently returned from a successful month-long AFE Tour of Asia, alvin arrives back to the states to sign a 3-year deal with EMI that will cover the continent of Asia.

EMI which has been in existence for over 50 years and is home to some of the greatest artists and songs in music history is also the world's leading independent music company and operates in over 50 countries, will soon be adding Eastbrook Music to one of it's many partnerships.
"It's an awesome accomplishment for an independent artist with his own label. Distribution is a key component to getting your music to the people.." alvin stated.

The deal is conjuntion with Vyne Entertainment and Star Search Media which includes a radio promotion campaign and song licensing for the artist. Eastbrook Music plans to utilize the agreement to generate an american distribution deal which is in the planning stages. "From a business standpoint the distribution deals will give me and my label an avenue in which to put future projects into the hands of the people all over." stated alvin. His debut album "Love & Faith: Volume 1" will be re-released in Asia in the coming months.

"The Asian release will be slightly different than the original album. Some of the songs were remixed and remastered and the cover art slightly enhanced, but the feel and look of the album is the same."

After a successful tour of Asia, alvin returns to recap some of the events of his recent tour along with a few photos. He is scheduled to appear on the noon broadcast (WEWS - Cleveland) during 12:30 - 1pm portion on March 17, 2008. Be sure to tune in!

Eastbrook Music to host AFE Tour Kick-Off Concert / Dinner at The Macklin Event Center!
In celebration of alvin frazier's AFE Tour of Japan, Eastbrook Music will be hosting a dinner concert. The artist will perform 2 sets featuring newly performed songs from his debut release "Love & Faith: Volume 1".

alvin frazier selected for AFE Tour of Japan!!!
Christian recording artist, alvin frazier recently signed on to go on a AFE Tour of Japan. The artist will be touring military bases as well as club venues throughout Japan and South Korea. alvin will be participating on the tour as part of the Shelby Brown Show. Shelby Brown is a smooth-jazz artist / saxophonist out of Detroit, Michigan. alvin recently wrote and produced a beautiful song entitled "I'm In Love Again" for Shelby's upcoming third album due for release next year. The AFE (Armed Forces Entertainment) works in conjunction with the USO.

Friday, September 7th at 9pm, alvin frazier will be making an appearance at Rainbow Family Bookstore in Maple Hts., OH. The artist will do a 15-20 minute set to include songs from his current release "Love & Faith: Volume 1".

alvin frazier visits PACE Foundation Day Camp
Still reeling in the recent success of his Night Town debut, alvin still manages to take time out to give back. August 17, 2007, alvin and his acoustic guitar spent the afternoon singing, playing and talking with the youth of the PACE Foundation about life and music.

The mission of the Performing Arts, Community, Education and Economics Foundation (PACE) is to engage, cultivate and educate diverse audiences about the arts and culture of the African Diaspora and provide opportunities for artistic and creative expression. The participants are also given vocational training in various fields including: music, television & radio.

The youth were in awe of alvin's musical gifts along with his down-to-earth personality. alvin treated the crowd with an unplugged acoustic version of his single "I Miss You" from his current album along with some impromptu piano work on the baby grand. The artist finished the session with a "Question & Answer" forum.

Praise-apella opens for Michael W. Smith at the Fest!
Sunday, August 5, 2007 alvin as a member of the vocal group Praise-apella will be apart of one of the largest Christian music events in the country, The Fest. The group will be performing on the main stage in front of an audience of 25,000 as the opening act for Michael W. Smith. Other performers on the show will include Leeland and Superchick.
