Legendary funk guitarist Marlon McClain (Pleasure, Dazz Band, Jeff Lorber, En Vogue, George Clinton) and “smooth soul architect” alvin frazier team up for a new R&B release; “Feels Right” [a masterclass in modern soul.] The single is set for release April 24.

This has been years in the making but it has finally happened. alvin will be in concert during this year's 47th Annual Tri-C Jazzfest in Cleveland Ohio June 25-27. The historic line-up curated by newly appointed executive director Orlando Watson, will include legendary artists such as Sheila E., Ron Carter, Ohio Player, Tito Puente', Spyro Gyra, Durrand Bernarr and more! alvin will be performing on the main outdoor stage Saturday June 27th. JAE Films has just inked a deal to bring alvin onboard for their latest movie project “Faithful Intentions” set to film end of July 2024. After giving such a strong performance and being so well-received as “Manny” in last year's “What Happens in the Dark” they decided to bring alvin back to play the streetwise “J-Mack” in this suspense thriller. alvin recently made history in his hometown of Cleveland Ohio when he made an appearance on Fox 8 News at 5. Typically, artists, bands and musicians request to perform on the popular morning show to promote upcoming events. The producer saw alvin performing at Cleveland Clinic and was so impressed he invited him to perform and be featured on the show making him the first artist / musician from the city to do so for that timeslot.  

While in the middle of a hectic summer touring schedule,  the musician / actor has just signed on for the role of "Manny" in the JAE Films feature "What's Happens in the Dark". The suspense thriller is a Tubi Original movie and will feature alvin in a way you have never seen him before!

Awesome news to report!! alvin frazier has signed on to do his first tour in the UK. England helped put “Something to Remember” from alvin's sophomore album on the map with an overwhelming amount of support. The song and it's parent album “A Wonderful Love” both landed high chart positions on the UK Soul Chart. The artist will be performing songs from his current release RIVER and sharing the stage as the opening act for British songstress Hil St. Soul for 3 incredible shows. 

After releasing the original version late 2021, alvin surprised everyone with an expanded and remastered edition this past fall. The album includes 4 additional tracks. Liner notes and production credits are available when purchased from this website. If you enjoyed the original you will absolutely love the sound of the remaster.

This year seems to get better and better for the musician / actor. The RIVER Tour makes a stop in Nashville TN when alvin will share the stage with indie king of R&B / Soul Eric Roberson for 2 nights at the City Winery. The pair have performed together in the past and recently shared leads on "Gone Gyrl" from alvin's latest album "RIVER".

alvin frazier first appeared on the show in 2009 in support of his debut album "Love & Faith: Vol. 1" and returns to promote his third album "RIVER" This will be the artist's first in-depth interview which will also include acoustic renditions of tunes from the new project. The show is produced by Ideastream and will be broadcast live on Facebook initially and then on WVIZ TV and WCPN 90.3 FM in Cleveland OH December 3rd.
